Dr. Hayes
Dr. Hayes is originally from Suisun, CA. She attended the University of Osteopathic Medicine & Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA, where she received her Medical Degree in Osteopathic Medicine. She then attended the Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, WA, for her Internship & Residency.
She practiced in the United States Army as a Military Doctor for 9 years in the United States, Korea, & Egypt. Dr. Hayes is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
She has been practicing in the Fort Collins area for 8 years, and in September 2002, she started A Woman's Place of Fort Collins. Dr. Hayes is looking forward to the practice being able to support missions work in the future. During her free time, Dr. Hayes enjoys singing, biking, hiking, & the outdoors.
Susan Bush
Susan Bush is from Illinois. She has been in Colorado since the 1970's. She attended Northern Illinois Univ. and the Univ. of Colorado where she received degrees in Education and Nursing. Her Masters in Midwifery was earned from Philadelphia Univ.
She practiced at Poudre Valley Hospital for 14 years and 10 of those years were in Labor & Delivery. Susan has spent another 7 1/2 years practicing Midwifery in Ft. Collins before joining A Woman's Place in October 2006.
She is a Certified Nurse Midwife & belongs to the American College of Nurse Midwives and the Sigma Theta Tau (Nursing Honor Society). In Susan's spare time she is a voracious reader of women's fiction. She also enjoys scrapbooking, quilting, cross-stitching and spending time with her husband of 26 years, her 18 year old daughter, and her Westie, Maxx.
